The week started off with Cinco de Mayo celebrations which included a trip to the local Mexican Restaurant for lunch with Holden's class.
I feel so lucky that I am able to chaperone all of the kids' field trips (especially when they don't involve the subway). It's so much fun to see them get so excited to do something out of their ordinary routine.
And Flat Noémie continues her grand adventures of the city. Yesterday, Kevin brought her to work with him so he could show her the Chrysler Building next door to his office and show her what a real NYC commute is like.

Apparently they stopped for a drink on the way home. Kevin assures me that Flat Noémie only had a Shirley Temple.

She seems to be having a ball but I think she misses her family back in Novato. I hope she can stay with us through the weekend to celebrate Mother's Day with us.
