Welcome Whitney

Can you say busy??

I haven't forgotten about you, dear readers. But you know sometimes life just gets in the way and blogging seems like a luxury.

We enjoyed some much deserved warm weather over the last week.

If it's Tuesday, it must be Wayfinders...

And because the world is our classroom, we got our learning done outdoors.

Picnic table as classroom

An old-fashioned picnic in the park happened:

And baseball and softball, of course:

The Whitney Museum of American Art just reopened in its new location in the Meatpacking District this weekend.  We didn't dare try to squeeze our way inside, but did enjoy a fun block party going on around the new beautiful location and walked the length of the High Line, just because it's there.

A local photography studio was offering free photos for passersby

Events that were not photographed this week: dinner with friends on Saturday night, Science Teacher Sarah on Sunday afternoon (while the adults met friends for drinks at a rooftop bar), a date night at a fancy restaurant, and the kids went to a Spanish language play with their Spanish teacher.  Just another quiet week for Team Skaggs.
